When Praxamark Clip and Praxamark Atlas go on sale, each starts with a 14-day free trial on a monthly or yearly subscription. You add your card when you start, and you’re charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. There’s one trial per person, and passes and gifts have no trial. Praxamark Vault is free, so it needs no trial.

Praxamark Vault is free. Praxamark Clip and Praxamark Atlas are paid. Compare the modes, see who each one is for, and see pricing. It’s one install, so you can move up whenever you like.

Praxamark is in development and coming soon as a browser extension (Chrome first, then Chromium browsers, Firefox and Safari) and as apps for macOS, iOS, Windows and Android. One Praxamark Clip or Praxamark Atlas licence will cover you on all of them.

No. Praxamark has no account and no Praxamark server. You install it, and what you keep stays on your computer.

On your own computer, in your Praxamark Data Vault inside your browser. Identity Praxis never receives a copy. Nothing leaves your computer until you press something, like Post or Summarize. More on storage.

Yes. In Settings → Security & privacy, set a passphrase, save your recovery code, then seal your Praxamark Data Vault. Today it’s off until you turn it on. From the next release, your Praxamark Data Vault is sealed from the start. What is sealed, and what stays readable.

No. Praxamark has no analytics and sends nothing about you to Identity Praxis. From Praxamark Clip up, tracking codes and web beacons are taken out of everything you clip and post. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics either.

Praxamark supports MyTerms (IEEE 7012, beta): privacy terms you choose and offer to a site that accepts them, rather than terms a site imposes on you. Both sides keep a record. The agreements are written and kept by Customer Commons, not by Identity Praxis, and nothing here is legal advice. It’s in every mode.

Yes. This website accepts MyTerms (IEEE 7012-2025), a standard for terms that come from you: you choose them, a site agrees or declines. It accepts all ten of Customer Commons’ agreements (version 0.9): SD-BASE, SD-BASE-DP, SD-BASE-A, SD-BASE-A-DP, SD-BASE-AT, SD-BASE-AT-DP, SD-BASE-ATP, SD-BASE-ATP-DP, SD-BASE-ATP-S3P, SD-BASE-ATP-S3P-DP.

If you use Praxamark, it offers your terms when you visit (or asks you first), and both sides keep a signed record.

Only when you ask, and you choose where it runs for each job. From Praxamark Clip up, AI can run on your own computer (Ollama, LM Studio or Chrome’s built-in model). Praxamark Atlas adds public AI providers such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. Whatever an AI writes is marked as the AI’s.

From Praxamark Clip up, to Local destinations on your computer: a Markdown folder, Obsidian, Tinderbox (Mac), BibTeX and RIS files, the clipboard, email and Apple Reminders (Mac). Praxamark Atlas adds Online destinations: your AI twin, any HTTP endpoint, Zotero and Solid pods.

Yes. A monthly or yearly subscription stops renewing as soon as you cancel, and you keep what you paid for to the end of the period. Cancel during the trial and you aren’t charged.

You keep everything. Praxamark steps down to Praxamark Vault, or to Praxamark Clip if you also have a Praxamark Clip Plan, and nothing you kept is lost.

With an email address at a school’s domain that we can verify: addresses ending in .edu, and academic domains worldwide such as ac.uk, edu.au and ac.jp. We send a link to that address, and opening it confirms you. We’re still refining how we check, so these details may change before we open.

Ask for a manual review, and tell us your school and your role.

We check your school email again once a year. If you’ve left, your next renewal is at the full price, and we tell you before it happens.

It tells us you may qualify, so we can tell you how to claim it when Praxamark opens. We check when you claim the discount, not when you join the list.
