The Praxamark Commons

Take part

Praxamark™ is built with the people who use it. Answer research questions if you choose to, add to what we know about the personal data ecosystem, and tell us what to build next. Everything here is voluntary, and nothing is on until you say yes.

1 · Studies and usage reports

Help research how people manage their data and knowledge

Studies in the Praxamark Commons look at how people read, mark, cite and keep what they learn, and how they manage their personal data. They are in every mode, Praxamark Vault included, and voluntary and anonymous by design.

  • Nothing is on by default. You choose each purpose separately: usage reports, each survey, and the profile bands you’re willing to give.
  • Anonymous. You answer under a research id made for this alone, never your licence key or your email.
  • For adults. You confirm you are 18 or older.
  • A receipt for every answer, kept in your Praxamark Data Vault with your digital exhaust, so you can see what you gave.
  • Leave at any time. Withdraw from a purpose, or from the Commons, in Praxamark.

You join from inside Praxamark, in Settings, not on this website: there is no account to make here.

2 · Add to what we know

Help build the map of the personal data ecosystem

Our Learn The Commons section holds a glossary, a map of the organizations and initiatives that have tried to put people in charge of their data, and the protocols behind them. It is a living record. Suggest a missing term, organization or standard, or correct one, with a public source if you have one.

  • Every suggestion is reviewed before anything changes.
  • Every claim needs a public source. We don’t list personal information about private individuals.
  • We credit you only if you ask us to.

3 · Tell us

Ideas, problems and support

Tell us what works, what doesn’t and what you wish Praxamark did. We read everything.

Donations, available in every mode, will be explained here when they open.
