Praxamark™ simulationIn January 2026 the IEEE published MyTerms (IEEE 7012-2025). MyTerms helps you reclaim your agency. Rather than being forced to accept a site’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on its terms alone, you assert your terms of access: one of a small set of standard agreements, such as “use my data only to serve me, and share it with no one”. The site accepts or declines, and both sides keep a record.
Praxamark helps you assert your terms. Following the standard, Praxamark asserts them to every site that supports MyTerms, before you share anything. Here are two simulations at Northwind Books:
Praxamark can also read a site’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service with you and surface warnings: what to watch for, measured against your terms. We are not lawyers, so these readings are not legal advice, and we take no legal responsibility for them.
Second-hand books on privacy, the commons and the open web.
Praxamark· before you agreeThis shop does not accept MyTerms, so only its own terms apply. Review them before you agree: Praxamark’s side panel opens (simulated here), and your AI reads the policy and says what to watch for. We are not lawyers: this is not legal advice.
